HALITOSIS (aka Bad Breath) Are You A Victim?
Halitosis, also known as bad breath is an offensive odor that either you, your loved ones or someone close to you may detect. Many people with halitosis are not even aware that they have this problem. Some causes may be from poor oral hygiene, periodontal disease, medications, certain foods or dry mouth. Here are a few ways you can battle halitosis and achieve fresh breath and good oral health:
- get frequent professional dental cleanings
- daily flossing
- brushing regularly
- using an anti bacterial mouthwash
- tongue scraping or brushing
Halitosis can also sometimes be related with internal medical problems and if that is the case, we can refer you to a physician for further evaluation. We are located in Broward County and are here to help guide you to achieve good oral health.
