• What associations or academies are you associated with?—Make sure your cosmetic dentist is also a member of various dental organizations. Many associations, like the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry have special requirements that cosmetic dentists must meet in order to be a member.
• Can I view examples of your before and afters?—Any quality cosmetic dentist will be able to provide you with plenty of examples of the work they have performed on patients. You want to look at examples of patients who received the exact same treatment or procedure that you are considering.
